Choose a template for a proposal

Choose the template that best fits the response you need to prepare.

Choose the template that best fits the response you need to prepare. Treat its outline as a starting point that still needs to satisfy the RFP.

Review the template first

  1. Open Templates.
  2. Use Preview on a candidate template to inspect its sections.
  3. Compare the outline with the buyer's required order, scoring criteria and page or word limits.

If the outline is wrong, edit it or create another template before starting the proposal.

Select it during creation

Start a proposal, choose the linked RFP and select the template offered in the creation form or generation configuration. Review the resulting section plan before generating. Check the proposal language, evidence selection and section instructions as well as the template name. An outline cannot supply missing project evidence or staffing details.

Review the result

Read every generated section, resolve placeholders and check for omitted buyer requirements. Export a sample and inspect the actual document. If you later change a library template, inspect the existing proposal directly rather than assuming its draft has been rewritten.
