Use proposal templates

Use a template to start from a reusable proposal section structure.

Use a template to start from a reusable proposal section structure. Review the selected structure against each buyer's instructions before generating content.

Find a template

Open Templates and inspect the name, description and listed sections. Use Preview to inspect the outline. The Default marker identifies the default template, and Uploaded identifies a template created from a document.

Maintain the outline

Use Edit Template to update its name, description or section titles, then Update Template. Use Make default when another outline should be the default. Confirm a deletion only after checking that the team no longer needs that template.

Choose the next task

Create an outline with New Template or import a source with Upload Template. Use the Variables tab to maintain reusable placeholder values. When creating a proposal, select an appropriate template and review the sections before generating. The buyer's required structure takes precedence over a convenient house outline.
