Every figure traces back to primary Government of Canada open data: proactive disclosure of contracts over $10K, the grants and contributions registry, and CanadaBuys award notices. We don't editorialize the numbers — we normalize spellings, reconcile departments, and link vendors across datasets so the totals add up.
