Organization roles control which actions you can take, while section assignments identify who is responsible for particular work. Check both when an action is missing or refused.
Proposal permissions
Administrators, managers, proposal leads and contributors can create tasks on a proposal. Administrators, managers and proposal leads can assign proposal sections to owners and reviewers. Viewing, commenting and section approval depend on assignment and workflow, not on role alone. The assigned reviewer can approve a section; a section owner cannot approve their own section.
Manage membership
Open Team to manage other eligible members. The role selector offers the supported roles for that screen; not every internal role can be granted there. A fresh two-step verification may be required for a role change or removal. If a member row has no role selector or Remove control for you, your role does not allow that change, and you cannot change your own role or remove yourself.
Deletion and history
Deletion permission has its own rule. Administrators, managers and proposal leads can delete a proposal, RFP or asset that someone else created, and the person who created a resource can delete it themselves. A contributor or viewer cannot delete someone else's work. Review an available audit-history link or Audit Logs to inspect recorded changes. Filter by the relevant resource and date before exporting a history view.
