Use the pursuit workbench to record a bid decision before developing a proposal. Review the requirements, staffing and pricing assumptions together with the recommendation.
Open the pursuit workbench
Open Pipeline and select Qualify on a tracked opportunity that has a linked RFP. If the opportunity has no RFP yet, select Pursue first to create and open the linked RFP. Access depends on the organization's plan and write entitlement. The workbench is available on the Trial tier, the Professional tier and the Enterprise tier.
Capture checklist
Record the Incumbent (if known) and Client relationship information. Use evidence you can confirm; leave uncertain facts for follow-up rather than presenting them as established. Work through 1 · Requirements, 2 · Team, 3 · Pricing, and 4 · Recommendation.
Requirements and recommendation
Review mandatory and rated requirements, including any No-go triggers. Check the staffing options and the Lean, Recommended, and Low risk alternatives against available people and delivery cost. Missing résumé evidence or incomplete staffing weakens the recommendation. Review readiness, confidence and escalation notes before deciding.
Move to a proposal
- Enter the rationale, including conditions and unresolved evidence.
- Record a gate decision: Go, Conditional go, or No-go.
- For Go or Conditional go, select Promote to proposal â.
- Use Open proposal â when a proposal is already linked.
A No-go decision does not offer promotion, and the workbench does not offer a control to change a recorded decision.
