Review a draft before committing to its claims and scores. Use the proposal's evaluator review for the buyer's scoring criteria, and the RFP's competitor simulation for likely competitive attacks.
What a Red Team review does
Open the proposal's Red Team review page to examine a simulated evaluation against the published criteria. Scores are estimates for revision, not a prediction of the buyer's decision. The RFP's Black Hat tab instead examines competitors, their likely arguments and possible counters.
What it needs (a proposal with a drafted section)
Prepare at least one drafted proposal section. For the evaluator review, the linked RFP also needs evaluation criteria. If they are missing, return to the RFP and use Analyze with AI. A tender without a published scoring grid cannot support that evaluation.
For the competitor simulation, select a proposal linked to the RFP. Historical contract evidence must support a matching cohort and competitors; a missing-evidence message means there is not enough data to run that simulation.
Run the review
- Open the proposal's Red Team review page and select Run Red Team review.
- Read the completed scorecard and any validation or coverage notices.
- After revising the draft, select Re-run review.
To run the separate simulation, open the Black Hat tab in the RFP's Intelligence area, choose the draft beside Review proposal:, and select Run Black Hat Review. Use Regenerate when you need a new simulation.
Read the findings
Compare each criterion's score, rationale and gaps with the actual draft and scoring grid. A disputed score range uses its lower value in the total. Partial coverage means some draft text was omitted. If a new run fails validation, an older valid scorecard may remain visible with a notice; do not mistake it for the latest result.
For the competitor simulation, review the cohort evidence, attacks, counters and differentiation. Check those suggestions against evidence you can substantiate.
Export the review
Use Export Red Team PDF when a validated evaluator scorecard is available. In the competitor simulation, Export bid-pack PDF appears for a ready report. Review dates and stale-result notices before sharing either document.
Limits
The evaluator review requires an active plan that permits writing, an available AI allowance, and a Trial, Professional or Enterprise tier. Each run uses AI allowance. The competitor simulation has its own availability switch, write-access and AI-usage checks; cached results do not start a new AI run. Intelligence access is needed for its buyer-contact enrichment, rather than for every part of the simulation. Rate limits or an in-progress run can delay a repeat request.
