Review wins, losses and debriefs

Use recorded outcomes to understand proposal performance.

Use recorded outcomes to understand proposal performance. Keep the decision date and debrief accurate so the charts reflect what actually happened.

Read the win rate

Open Analytics, set the relevant filters and inspect Win rate trend. Win rate uses won proposals divided by won plus lost proposals; pending decisions are outside that denominator. Read the decision count alongside the percentage. The trend is a 3-month rolling win rate, so it differs from one month's outcome count.

Compare outcomes

Use Submissions and outcomes to compare won, lost, pending and No-bid activity by month. A recorded decision without a date can count in a headline win rate without appearing on the monthly timeline. Check notices about undated decisions before reconciling those views.

Record useful feedback

Open the proposal or its pipeline outcome controls when the buyer announces a decision. Record the outcome, decision details and debrief information you can substantiate. Review Recent debriefs for recurring lessons. Check Competitors for patterns across buyers. Distinguish buyer feedback from your team's interpretation, and avoid drawing a firm conclusion from a small sample.
