The intention of this project is to have consultant assess the condition of the existing Middle Head Road and Keltic Roadway(s) into & out of the Highlands Links and Keltic Lodge properties as well as the related buried infrastructure and erosion issues. To follow this assessment the consultant will present best options for rehabilitation followed by a complete redesign of the roadway(s) and buried infrastructure based on the selected option. This project will result in the complete review of the existing Middle Head Road and Keltic Roadway(s) into & out of the Highlands Links and Keltic Lodge properties while also providing options to create stable roadway(s) into & out of the Highlands Links and Keltic Lodge properties plus determine the most feasible option for implementation that rehabilitates the roadway(s) and buried infrastructure. This project will thus assess the condition as well as adequacy of the existing municipal infrastructure including water supply & distribution systems, waste water collection/treatment/disposal systems and other buried infrastructure for the Cape Breton Highlands Links and Keltic Lodge while protecting and reinstating any other infrastructure including electrical & communication services related to the roadways work and other project works.
