Purpose
The Lesperance Road & Little River Boulevard Multi-Use Pathway involves the installation of approximately 2.51 kilometers of multi-use pathway along Lesperance Road from Riverside Drive to First Street and on Little River Boulevard from Lesperance Road to Gauthier Street in the Town of Tecumseh. This project is aimed at strategically improving the active transportation network within the Town through the interconnection of approximately 30 kilometers of existing active transportation facilities both within the Town and neighbouring communities (Ganatchio Trail, Riverside Pathway (2022), Little River Pathway, McNorton Pathway). Installation of this pathway will increase active transportation access to the Town’s downtown commercial centre (Tecumseh Road) and recreation facilities such as the arena and recreation complex, and local parks (Arrowhead, Chippewa, Col. Paul Poisson, Tecumseh Centre, and Tecumseh Dog Park). Implementation of this project will provide access to active transport
