Purpose
The project will extend the existing trail and will further enhance the trail's connectivity and value. The extension will provide many more neighbourhoods with access to this key active transportation corridor, including the Neighbourhood Improvement Area of South Parkdale. This new section of the West Toronto Railpath will extend 2 km from Dundas Street West at Sterling Road to just west of Abell Street at Sudbury Street (adjacent to the Kitchener GO Rail Corridor).
