Purpose
This project will construct a pedestrian/cyclist bridge with a connection to a recreation trail. The project will include approximately 680m long trail, as well as an approximately 50m long pedestrian bridge with accessible ramps over the CN railway. The project will also include signage, greenery, and new lighting. The multi-use asphalt trail will start in the west at the entry plaza at 63 Observatory Lane across the Observatory Lane Pedestrian/Cyclist Bridge to the residential development on the east side of the Richmond Hill David Dunlap Observatory Park.
