Purpose

Gift Lake Metis Settlement, in support of the Community Safety Plan previously developed will engage the community in the development of a drug prevention/intervention strategy as well as the development of a process to identify (and hopefully remove) people involved in criminal activities. Activities such as walks, dances, youth drug prevention group, speaker series, drug prevention/intervention fair and “block parent” will support the community development and capacity building efforts to increase safety and service provision.
