Purpose
The objective of the project is focussed on food security. The intern will be working in a converted hockey arena that has been running as a community garden for 21 years. The intern will assist in preparing garden plots, planting, weeding, tending vegetables; harvesting, including documenting amounts of harvest; caring for chickens; assisting with preparing the veggie boxes to be distributed 3 times per week.
