At the end of February 2019, the Kingcome Inlet Wharf connection broke free from the rock face. This wharf is connected by stiff legs (logs) anchored into the rock face and is used by the local community as a deep water transition for the transportation of all goods and services. The work includes mobilizing crew and equipment to Kingcome Inlet, drilling new anchors into the rock face, welding and repairing the connection saddles on the stiff legs, realigning, lifting and connecting the stiff legs to the rock anchors. Timber repair on float will be needed for connecting the stiff leg C. All material and hardware will be supplied by the contractor.
