Description
Fleet Maintenance Facility CAPE BRETON requires a Flygt Submersible Pump to be used in the Drydock. Goods and Services Identification Number (GSIN): N4320 Make and Model: XYLEM FLYGT CS222-3 3.6/460/3 16M SS LAV 3060.390-1360 This is a no-substitute requirement. The existing infrastructure within the Drydock Tunnel imposes strict physical size and configuration constraints that cannot be met by alternative pumps without significant modifications to the facility. The use of any other pump would introduce compatibility, installation, operational, and maintenance challenges, and would require costly engineering changes to the existing infrastructure.
