Purpose
The project implemented by Alternatives will provide young Canadians, primarily women and those from cultural, ethnic, or sexual minorities, who are completing or continuing their secondary and university studies in the Montreal, Quebec, and Ottawa metropolitan areas, with the opportunity to undertake an internship abroad. A total of 190 internships will be offered, each lasting four months. The interns will conduct their internships in institutions related to the fields of education and gender, communications and new technologies, and women's rights. Interns will have the chance to collaborate with experienced experts in a different context from that of Canada, providing them with an opportunity to enhance their skills, gain new knowledge, and develop expertise through interactions with other professionals.
