Purpose
This contribution supports the Nature Conservancy of Canada in protecting a functional and adapted ecological corridor in the Forillon Peninsula that contributes to the needs of the territory's current and future regional fauna and flora, in a context of climate change. This support will promote the sustainable and integrated management of human development, the adoption of measures to conserve forest cover and the development of infrastructures and road rightsof-way that facilitate wildlife passage to ensure the functionality of ecological corridors in this territory between Forillon National Park and the large forests of the heart of the Gaspé Peninsula.
