Purpose

To facilitate the labour market integration of internationally-educated midwives in Canada. More specifically, the CMBC project has three main objectives: 1. Improve the Recruitment, Application, Advising, Assessment and Educational components of the multi-jurisdictional bridging program; 2. Pilot the improved multi-jurisdictional bridging program across Canada in established and newly regulated Canadian jurisdictions; 3. Develop a sustainability plan to transition the multi-jurisdictional bridging program into a long-term and sustainable program available across all Canadian jurisdictions.
