Purpose
The project aims to mitigate landslides in Whitehorse by realigning a roadway and flattening the slope of an escarpment. Construction involves realignment of Robert Service Way further away from the base of the escarpment, expanding a debris barrier, as well as removing rocks and dirt from the escarpment and revegetation to reduce erosion.
