Purpose
The proponent will expand their anaerobic digestion facility, using 60,000 tonnes/year of organic waste, to produce an additional 185,000 GJ/year of RNG, in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The proponent will also produce 45,000 tonnes of digestate and an estimated 20,000 tonnes of compost which is also used as a fertilizer by the surrounding farms, landscapers, and residential community.
