Purpose

The objective of this project is to advance the science for utilizing food waste and agricultural residues to make biocarbon cost competitive. It also aims to undertake cutting edge research in deriving biographene from biocarbon and to accelerate the innovation of biocarbon as a key source material in applications that will reduce use of fossil fuels, ranging from biodegradable mulch film to light weighting applications in the rail, aerospace and automotive sectors.
