Purpose
This project aims to help Canada meet its need to attract a new generation of farmers. Access to knowledge and training is a key barrier to entering farming. Young Agrarians “Conditions for Growth” project addresses this gap with on-farm training and online education to provide entry-level skill-building and knowledge transfer opportunities for new farmers and under-represented and marginalized groups. This project will promote agriculture as a career, enable sector participation and build knowledge and leadership.
