Purpose

The project explores how Gladue informational practices affect justice-involved Indigenous peoples in Saskatchewan, focusing on their experiences and stakeholder perspectives across the criminal justice process. It consists of three studies—a literature review, qualitative interviews and focus groups, and a quantitative stakeholder survey—to assess impacts on reintegration and recidivism. Findings will inform evidence-based best practices and be shared through academic and community-focused knowledge transfer initiatives.
