Purpose
This 60-month project is based on the principle of mobilizing new funds and partnerships to support and engage Canada’s community foundations in an effort to accelerate gender equality at the local level. This project will advance gender equality in Canada in two main ways: by providing contribution funding to community foundations to fund projects in their communities, and by weaving gender equality best practices within community foundations. The project includes a matched investment of $10,000,000.
