Purpose

The purpose of the project is to increase the capacity of the Campbell River Restorative Justice Program to provide more culturally aware and trauma-informed service to Indigenous offenders and victims, as they navigate through Restorative Justice processes. Reducing recidivism, providing an alternative to court, a process to reintegrate after incarceration, and developing a training curriculum and volunteer team to carry this service into the foreseeable future.
