Purpose

This project aims to develop an evidence-based best practice model that will result in a measurable reduction in incarceration and recidivism for Indigenous offenders who use the services of the Indigenous Safe Hub. The Hub model also aims to provide effective supports to victims of violence, particularly victims of gender-based violence. The overarching goal is to demonstrate that the Mamook Kloshe Community Safe Hub model's developmental and design processes can be customized to other communities across the country for national applicability.
