Purpose
Amendment to re-profile funds to 2022-2023, extend end date to April 30, 2022 and increase funds by $42,000 in order to continue to initiate a national strategy for search and rescue (SAR) engagement by establishing foundational cornerstones for the Search and Rescue Volunteer Association of Canada (SARVAC). This will increase the organization’s workforce capacity to deploy and respond to COVID-19 and other large-scale emergencies across Canada.
