Purpose

The proposed project is aiming to study the greater hacking community to find prominent players and identify emerging threats. Tangible outcomes for this project include: 1) an understanding of how cyber-criminals are established in various communities, 2) an updated version of the Open Discussion Forum Crawler (ODFC) capable of cross-community analysis and 3) Operationalization of the technology for use by law enforcement and security professionals.
