Purpose
Participation and implementation of a collaborative management model for the Wrecks of HMS Erebus and HMS Terror National Historic Site’s Inuit Impact and Benefit Agreement. This 10-year block contribution agreement enables the Nattilik Heritage Society to participate in a collaborative management model for the Wrecks of HMS Erebus and HMS Terror National Historic Site as negotiated in the site’s Inuit Impact and Benefit Agreement. The projects the Society will lead include: the establishment of a visitor facility, collaborative site operation and management, and a wrecks’ Guardian program.
