Purpose
To be eligible to the competition applications must address all four (4) objectives. Through the establishment of an integrated and interdisciplinary Canadian Post COVID-19 Condition Research Network: 1. Provide a platform to strengthen Canada’s capacity to undertake and contribute to ongoing non-duplicative research on post COVID-19 condition and coordinate, consolidate, and enable the use of existing and emerging research evidence; and 2. Enable comprehensive and timely understanding of the biological, clinical, mental health, health systems, and population health impacts of post COVID-19 condition and its relevance for public health, health systems and policy (with consideration for and applicability to groups who face a disproportionate health burden); and 3. Engage relevant stakeholders, knowledge users and partners at the local, national, and international level to support coordination of research activities, to amplify research findings, and to promote further collaborations; and 4. Swiftly mobilize timely, high-quality and policy, practice, and community-relevant research evidence on urgent and emerging research priorities in support of Canada response to post COVID-19 condition.
