Purpose

​The objective of the project is Kahkewistahaw First Nation believes the ability to provide optimal lives for its Members requires self-sufficiency, financial stability and economic prosperity, now and into the future. The intern will be working with local farmers that are leasing land from Kahkewistahaw First Nation on Agriculture Farm Equipment and Farm operations. The successful intern will be getting mentored by local farmers with expansive knowledge on agriculture grain farming such as canola, oats, flax, etc. and harvest.
