Purpose

This project aims to improve the Quebec pork industry's preparedness for the introduction of ASF through detection and improved pig traceability. The focus is on detecting and raising awareness among small-scale pig farmers and pet pig owners, as well as dematerializing the pig manifest into an electronic tool for declaring pig movements.
