Purpose
The objective of this project is to develop the assurance system for Canada’s grassland owners to produce and sell carbon offsets in rapidly expanding carbon markets, driven by increasing private-sector demand. In turn, grasslands will be conserved by challenging the economic drivers for grassland conversion to annual crops.
