Purpose
The objective of this project is to conduct a feasibility study to assess the viability of a hay farming operation on farm lands owned by the DRFN. The operation would enable the DRFN to expand into the agricultural sector while also providing training and employment opportunities for Nation members. Additional opportunities may be analyzed throughout the course of the study including bee keeping and the potential to grow other crops, such as fruits or vegetables.
