Parks Canada’s biodiversity decision‑making by working with NatureServe Canada and provincial Conservation Data Centres to standardize, analyze, and integrate species observation data. The work includes regular data exchanges, species status and taxonomic updates (including Species at Risk), targeted data enhancement, and specialized data mining for priority regions. Parks Canada also receives access to biodiversity expertise, analysis, and training based on nationally and internationally recognized NatureServe standards.
