Description
This project involves the supply, delivery, modification, installation, and commissioning of a self contained generator building at the Pinkut Creek Spawning Channel near Burns Lake, British Columbia. The work consists of converting a 20-foot transportable enclosure into a weather tight generator building to support on site power generation. The work includes: a) Supply, delivery, and placement of one (1) new 20 foot building at the upper site, as directed by the Departmental Representative. b) Required structural and building envelope modifications, including insulation, service penetrations, and installation of windows, louvers, and ventilation openings, to create a fully weather tight enclosure. c) Supply and installation of one (1) skid mounted diesel generator (30 kVA) and a compatible diesel fuel storage tank sized for a minimum of 24 hours of operation at 80% load. d) Supply and installation of mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems within the enclosure necessary for safe generator operation. e) Testing and commissioning of all installed equipment and systems. The Contractor is responsible for all labour, materials, equipment, transportation, installation, and coordination necessary to complete the work in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project drawings. Foundation construction and external electrical integration are excluded from this scope. Specifications and drawings will be provided in Phase Two of the Invitation to Tender.
