Description

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for fully supported, reliable, and robust Security Centre Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, including the supply and integration of 189 cloud enabled cameras and a Power over Ethernet voice mass notification system, to replace the existing on premises Genetec Security Center system for the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC). Security: There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult the section on Security Clearances in the Offeror Requirements, and the section on security in the resulting contract. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, bidders should refer to the Industrial Security Program (ISP) of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/index-eng.html) website. Mandatory Site Visit: There is a mandatory site visit associated with this requirement. Consult section 5.2 of the solicitation of offers for more information. Policy on Reciprocal Procurement: This solicitation of bids is open only to Canadian suppliers and to Suppliers of an applicable trading partner. For services requirements, Bidders must provide the required information as detailed in article 3.10 of the solicitation of offers, in order to comply with Treasury Board policies and directives on contracts awarded to former public servants. The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. DND is committed to supporting the procurement of environmentally preferable plastic products and the reduction of plastic packaging waste, and is taking concrete steps to better manage the use and disposal of plastics in its own operations as per the Policy on Green Procurement, the Greening Government Strategy: A Government of Canada Directive, and the Ocean Plastics Charter. Environmentally preferable packaging specifications are mandatory requirements in this procurement.
