On March 18, 2025, Canada issued an Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) (Solicitation WS5075857361 / Client Ref No. E60PV-25XRAY) allowing for Interested Parties to pre-qualify for X-ray Imaging Systems and Support in 3 streams. Stream 1 – High Energy X-ray Systems; Stream 2 – Low Energy X-ray Systems; and Stream 3 – Backscatter X-ray Systems. The ITQ closed on April 10, 2025 at 1400hrs EDT. This notice serves to announce the Qualified Respondents (QR) as a result of the responses received from the ITQ. ITQ Evaluation Results: The QRs are (in alphabetical order): Stream 1 – High Energy X-ray Systems a. Astrophysics Inc.; b. Leidos, Inc.; c. Rapiscan Systems Inc.; and d. Smiths Detection Montreal Inc. Stream 2 – Low Energy X-ray Systems a. Astrophysics Inc.; and b. Rapiscan Systems Inc. Stream 3 – Backscatter X-ray Systems a. Rapiscan Systems Inc.; and b. Smiths Detection Montreal Inc. At this time, only the listed QRs will be invited to participate in the subsequent phases of the X-ray Imaging Systems and Support procurement process.
