Purpose
Canada is funding the Recipient to advance a planning project to determine the feasibility of converting at least 274 school buses from diesel to electric by 2026 serving school boards within the larger National Capital Region as well as students in Belleville, Kingston and Petawawa. The planning project will consist of a whole-fleet assessment to determine the requirements for electrification in each location in terms of buses, charging equipment and costs.
