Canadian Women’s Foundation

Purpose

Through this 14-month project, the Canadian Women’s Foundation will strengthen Canada’s movement for gender equality by identifying eligible national women’s organizations and providing resources to build their internal capacities in the following areas of capacity: Human resources management, development and sustainability of partnerships, strategic and operational planning, change management, sustainability of funding, build capacity to undertake advocacy and provide expertise, and resultsbased management and impact measurement. This will be achieved through the further distribution of funds to a minimum of thirty national women’s organizations, through a process co-designed with feminist leaders.
