Purpose

This Project will support wildland fire management and increased wildland fire resilience of Indigenous Communities through the leadership and equitable inclusion of Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Metis and Inuit) and capacity building in fire management (e.g., including land based cultural practices, knowledge sharing among Indigenous fire practitioners, formation of working groups).
