Purpose
This project will significantly strengthen Ukraine and Moldova’s capacities to prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to chemical and broader chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) threats. Project activities include: (1) delivery of training for security and law enforcement agencies in Ukraine and Moldova on preventing, detecting, investigating and responding to chemical weapons incidents; (2) development and delivery of a train-the-trainer program on chemical, biological, nuclear and radiological investigations for the Security Service of Ukraine; and (3) delivery of training workshops and exercises to security personnel, judges and prosecutors in Ukraine and Moldova covering investigation, prosecution and adjudication of chemical crimes.
