Purpose
This 36-month project will address the barriers and gaps to attract and retain women in the forestry industry across Canada. A report with recommendations to address recruitment retention and advancement gaps for women across the sector will be developed, including availability and accessibility of mentorship programs. In addition, a national plan will be developed to identify priority areas for change which will be shared through the Canadian Institute of Forestry’s extensive network of industry officials.
