Prévention Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce

Purpose

This 36-month project aims to prevent sexual violence against girls in secondary schools and in the community of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. An advisory committee representing schools and community agencies will oversee the development and dissemination of coherent approaches regarding sexual consent in the youths’ environments. Policies and tools will be developed to address and prevent sexual harassment and will be made available to schools. The involvement of three youth consultation committees will help extend the reach of the project’s outcomes and support the creation of a continuum of efforts between schools and the community to develop a culture of consent.
