Purpose
By undertaking a co-ordinated set of initiatives, including gathering and analysis of information from various sources, this project will provide a comprehensive picture of international study abroad opportunities and impediments for Canadian students, with a particular focus on smaller institutions. The CBIE will consider national trends and international trends, and will explore the attitudes of students, university and college administrators, academics, employers and the general public. The project will also examine access issues, including perspectives relating to gender/race/ethnicity, and make recommendations to increase the Canadian participation in international study at the post-secondary level.
