Purpose

This project will support a one-time initiative to provide travel support to enable 36 Indigenous Courtworkers and delegates from Native Courtworker and Counselling Association of British Columbia to attend the Indigenous Courtwork Program National Gathering and related meetings March 4-8, 2019 in Ottawa, Ontario. The National Gathering of Indigenous Courtworkers will provide an opportunity to build on existing partnerships by sharing information and best practices in support of the Indigenous Courtwork Program mandate and objectives. The gathering will provide an opportunity for networking in support of skill building and capacity development for Courtworkers.
