The PS752 Commemorative Scholarship Program is a meaningful tribute to the 176 victims who tragically lost their lives in the PS752 flight disaster on January 8, 2020. Among these victims were brilliant minds and dedicated students who significantly contributed to Canada’s educational institutions. Over the next 5 years, from 2023 to 2028 academic year, Global Affairs Canada will offer 176 scholarships to international and Canadian post-secondary students studying in Canada to honour their legacies. A minimum of 70% of the scholarships will to be granted to international students, reflecting the percentage of international passengers on Flight PS752. This prestigious scholarship offers applicants the chance to receive an average of $25,000.
