Purpose
P006603001: This project also know as the Assessment Capacities Project (ACAPS) aims to improve coordinated multi-sector needs assessments before, during, or after the humanitarian response to the Rohingya refugee and other global humanitarian crises. With the support of GAC and other donors, the project provides evidence-based analysis for decision-making during humanitarian crises. Project activities include: (1) developing innovative needs assessment methodologies and tools in order to provide faster, more precise and cost effective assessments of humanitarian crises; and (2) training organizations and experts to build a roster of trained deployable assessment experts. This project is being implemented by a consortium of two international non-governmental organizations: Save the Children and the Norwegian Refugee Council.
