Purpose
The project seeks to restore approximately 570m of shoreline restoration of Teslin Lake to protect the community from ongoing erosion due to increasingly frequent high-water events from climate change. The project will implement a rip-rap with armouring rocks to provide the stability required for re-vegetation such as native willow and grasses to arrest active erosional processes. They will also re-grade the shore to provide for a leveled walking path to facilitate public access, and will add signs as design elements.
