Purpose
This project will build the capacity of family law practitioners within Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, Manitoba and BC to respond to family violence by promoting standardized assessment tools through workshops, webinars, and learning guides. The project will promote the HELP Toolkit, SAFeR (Screen, Assess, Focus and Respond), and RIA (Project Enhanced Safety: Risk Assessment Framework in Family Court). Furthermore, the project will enhance SAFeR by developing Canadian specific and web based resources for family law professionals to address the impact of family violence.
